The house has been restored and tastefully decorated with neutral colours and comfortable furnishings.
The accommodation includes a large lounge (with a fireplace, TV (sat), DVD and CD player), a dining room leading onto the country kitchen (gas hob & oven, microwave, fridge, kettle) a downstairs WC and a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Upstairs there is a mezzanine sitting area, a twin bedroom, a shower room and a double bedroom with balcony.
There is also a covered porch with a large dining table and BBQ – perfect for al fresco dining!
Power is provided by solar panels and a back-up generator – this is fully automatic.
Outside
The 4000m plot is managed sustainably following Biodynamic and Biointensive methods. The wide variety of shrubs and flowering plants ensure year round interest and help support and promote biodiversity.
In keeping with our conservation ethics the Pool is a Natural Swimming Pond (Swim-Teich). No chemicals are used as the water is purified by plants in the regeneration area – the swimming area is free of plants and is 9 x 3 metres (1.2m to 2m. Deep). This provides a wonderful swimming experience whilst benefiting the environment.
There is an organic vegetable garden for guests to pick their own!
The garden is perfect for a relaxing holiday with its lawns and terraces ensuring a choice of sun or shade at all times of day. Butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, and a variety of birds ensure there is always something to watch.
Location
This rural Finca is set in Majorca’s peaceful countryside, surrounded by fields of almonds, carobs, olive and oak trees. It is an ideal base to explore the island by bike or car.
The finca is just 2km from the village of Llubi, famous for capers and honey. The village has a small market every Tuesday, several bars/cafes, banks, shops and a supermarket providing essentials.
The towns of Inca and Sineu are just 10 minutes away. 'Playa de Muro’s' long sandy beaches are 15 minutes away and are backed by S’Albufera Wetland Reserve – considered one of Europe’s best bird watching sites. The central wine growing plains are also close by and the Levante and Tramuntana mountain ranges renowned by climbers and walkers alike can be reached in 30 minutes. The airport is about 40 minutes drive.
